Ophir Rugby Club is a local club offering rugby for players of all ages, from minis to seniors. We pride ourselves on being one of Northern Ireland’s most diverse and inclusive clubs, home to the Azlans and our Women’s and Girls’ teams.

With ten teams across all age groups and skill levels, Ophir is a strong supporter of grassroots rugby. We are one club, united as one big rugby family.

Founded in 2019, our club was born from the successful 'Try a Tri' programmes at the Valley Leisure Centre in Newtownabbey.

We are an informal, welcoming club with a relaxed attitude, open to all abilities. Our members range from beginners taking on their first triathlon to experienced athletes who regularly compete. We also have members who train for fun and choose not to race, creating a diverse and supportive community for everyone.
